The Dashboard
Find your way around the Assistance web dashboard.
The dashboard is your control center. Everything the bot does in your server is configured here.
Selecting a server
When you open the dashboard, you'll see every server where you have Manage Server permission and Assistance is installed. Selecting one takes you into that server's workspace, where the sidebar is scoped to it.
What's in the sidebar
Tickets
Review open and closed tickets and read their transcripts.
Commands
Create and manage custom slash and message commands.
Library
Author and organize reusable content and templates.
Packages
Install bundles of commands and templates.
There are also workspace settings for permissions, extensions, and initial setup.
Saving changes
Most edit screens in Assistance use a save bar: as you make changes, a bar appears at the bottom of the page with Save and Discard actions. Your edits aren't applied until you save them there.
Navigating away with unsaved changes will discard them. Use the save bar before leaving an edit screen.
Deploying changes to Discord
Commands are registered with Discord separately from being saved. After you create or change a slash command, Assistance deploys it so it shows up in your server. Message (prefix) commands take effect immediately and don't need a deploy.
